The Oyu Festival Promo became my second experience in co-directing. It was a large collaborative effort between Qara Studios and our studio Teniz Animation, and I’m truly proud of the result - the video turned out exactly how I envision the anime aesthetics of our team. I’m deeply grateful to Abylkaiyr Abylgazy, Dina Zhukenova, Timur Kulmakhanov, and our small yet incredibly talented team for bringing this project to life. Special thanks also to Qara Studios - director Konstantin Syromyatnikov and producer Aida Ablayeva for making this collaboration possible.
In addition to directing, I contributed to art direction, storyboarding, layout and environment painting. Together with Dina, we also created additional materials for the project. Oyu has always been and remains my favorite project, and I’m happy to have poured a part of myself into this promo.
